What is Restaking?
01
The Essence of Restaking Restaking stands as an innovative crypto concept pioneered by EigenLayer, a protocol decentralizing and commodifying Ethereum’s unparalleled trust. Essentially, restaking empowers users to delegate their staked ETH, either in its Native form or as Liquid Staked Tokens (LST), to designated Operators who manage validator nodes on various platforms termed Actively Validated Services (AVSs). Funds restaked to an AVS will act as collateral for their validation process, be subject to slashing, and generate additional rewards. And like native staking, restaking to EigenLayer locks those tokens away. We solve that challenge by offering unified LRTs that make your assets liquid.
02
What is xETH?
02
xLRT is a Liquid Restaking Token that provides liquidity for assets that have been deposited into EigenLayer. By converting staked ETH into xETH, you earn ETH/LST staking yield, BPM Points and AVS rewards while remaining liquid. xETH can be minted using any of the supported assets. xETH is a reward-bearing token. The underlying rewards accrued by restaking positions are reflected in the price of novETH over time as it increases in value.
